Life is about balance. Yes, yes it is. I’ve said it so many times before, but weightloss management is about balance too. You need to be able to live and enjoy life without rigid structure constantly. Most importantly, you need to know when to rein it in and be strict again. I haven’t been good with my food since I got ill. I haven’t been awful, but could have been a lot better. There were lots of treats when we were on holiday and of course today as it is Easter. My daily food was a mixture of healthy options and cheeky bits I really shouldn’t have been eating. With that said though, I’m not upset or feel guilty.
I believe sometimes life is more important than worrying about food and exercise. For me, this meant getting well and enjoying quality family time which is a rarity because of our schedules. I know that it’s time to rein it in. I haven’t done much damage, but I know it’s looming. However, I feel so much better now I’ve had my course of antibiotics. Easter is done, chocolate has been eaten and now it’s time to kick ass again. Starting tomorrow, healthier foods are back on the cards and exercise is being reintroduced. I will start running home from work again, starting very slow and easy as my lungs are still recovering. The hubs will also be joining me in doing HIIT at home 4 days a week. I am also determined to do at least one recipe a week and a vlog that is healthy living related. Please feel free to comment below on recipe ideas you would like to see or vlog ideas!
I apologise for lacks of posts lately and motivation, I know some of you see me as inspiration (I swear I’m not being cocky, using your words here!) and I’m sorry for not being that inspiration lately. If it wasn’t for all of you I wouldn’t be where I am now. Let’s do it!
